Making the choice to begin therapy may feel overwhelming and exciting. Side by side, we will collaborate to better understand these emotions.  The first step is to make an appointment. Once we establish a time for you to come in for an initial assessment, we will discuss your goals and expectations of therapy. I will gather some necessary information that may include: your relationships with others, your relationship with yourself, and family history; in order to create an understanding of how I can be the best help to you. After the initial appointment, I will speak with you about the course of treatment.

There are two approaches to treatment, short term and long term.

Short term: We work on addressing specific improvements to your everyday life.

Long term: We work on identifying ongoing patterns that may be holding you back. This approach helps facilitate profound insight into thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have kept you from reaching your full potential.

If you have any questions or concerns about the process, please contact me and I'll be happy to answer questions regarding treatment.
